you kidding? clothworks for the undead was, on average quality and design of the pieces, as good as anything grandma+ ever did. thieves was fucking brilliant too. i just don't know why julius started to massively lack ideas sometime after 05/06 fw season.

seems a lot of people hit apex around 03-05
such a great number of consistently great seasons.

you've to keep in mind that for f/w 03 through f/w 05, julius had much smaller production runs and very little publicity. NFI as to recent shredded tank rubbish, etc. clothworks stuff looked and felt more like linea than the julius we've come to know today.

now whats really surprising is how right before f/w 03, all prior seasons..julius was sort of making bizarre printed rubbish like tonnes of other japanese lines, ranging from unremarkable to lamentable. i wonder what it was that changed their direction so dramatically.
