Not a big Marylin Manson fan but anyone who uttered the line "burn the witches, burn the witches, burn the bridges, burn the bridges!!" gotta be the wittiest commentator on post 9-11 America I've ever seen.

On the mention of NIN, they would be the best band in the world if it wasn't for Trent's vocals, they ruin every - singe - NIN-song. For even better industrial, check out Skinny Puppy. It is actually kind of relevant to the thread too, Nivek Oghr has an amazing style too, but more towards the industrial Julius-esque side.

I used to listen to Skinny Puppy a long long time ago. I don't think they (or anyone else) can hold a candle to NIN. But, well, I'm a NIN fiend. I do think it's the best band in the world, and Trent is an incredibly talented musician. Although I can't say I like the last couple of albums. Skinny Puppy is somewhat sacred to me, but can't say that they spin that much right now, the Mrs. ain't that eager for the harsh stuff. :)
Saw them live a couple of years ago, the year the greater right of the wrong was released, nice to hear the old classics, and of course see the bloodstained crow-suit.
I heard NIN at the same time as SP, and I always liked them, but would have to agree with alyce to some point, Trents voice can sometimes ruin it all to me, can't really say why either.
