Hm, I don't know, this seems to look a bit dated, I thought viridi-anne were 'past' this stuff. Was hoping for something a bit more innovative, but it is a bit hard to tell with the photography.

Being able to see the textures of a lot of these pieces makes a difference. I think VA always does a solid job. Nothing excruciatingly new or creative here but very, very solid on the whole.
I definitely love the blazer and leathers...and the cuts on the other outerwear pieces are classic and sound.
Does anyone know if all of the footwear is VA? I enjoy a good bulbous, upturned toe on a boot as much as the next guy but I don't think I could pull off a few of those.
I can see how they anchor these outfits in a very specific way but in contrast to some of the more classic cuts, they just look a bit exaggerated to me.
Rather I should say, I like the way they look but I don't believe I'd like the way they might look on me.Originally posted by mizzarSorry for being kind of a dick to you.

I absolutely love VA. This is a solid collection but definately not one of their strongest imo.
Always have some fantastic outerwear and trousers. Im rather intrigued by the boots which seem to have a kind of leather spats over the top.
Can anybody who hit up the stealth showroom divulge some more info please.merz: your look has all the grace of george michael at the tail end of a coke binge.

i'm assuming all of the footwear is VA and that they're just bringing in a new toebox style. I agree that VA always has a pleasant fabric selection. Both times I've been to the flagship in Tokyo I've come away heartbroken that they don't stock 4 or 5's and I can't actually try on any outerwear.
Really interested in seeing more shots of these kicks too:

Some of the signature V-A shapes remain, but im somewhat underwhelmed - doesn't appear like much of an evolution / progression from the previous A/W collection. Some of the goosedown jackets have been absolutely fantastic in the past - the high necked long coat appears to follow in that tradition
