It is a lot better than the last two collections, but still his endless gimmicky riffs on a suit are getting old fast. The magnets on the suit are neither attractive nor as functional as an actual button. My favorite pieces are the transformations of the trench coat and some of the suits with color patches (sorta like what Yohji has done before...).

I see two pieces that i like, nothing else........“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

i don't really understand why this isn't at the top of the list with 5 times as many posts. This to me is better than most of the rest of what I've seen this season. I think Raf is back on track with this collection, if you ignore the shoes. As far as a cohesive collection goes this wins the prize, it's tightly edited in a way that other designers could and should learn from.
It is modern. What Raf seems to be doing is pushing boundaries within a small niche of the fashion world, far more admirable in my opinion than setting no limits and seeding down a bunch of feathers, pony skin and python. If I was in a job where I had to wear suit type clothes this would be a breath of fresh air for me.
SZ needs to be careful not to fall in to a pattern of only thinking about drapey goth-type clothes, without yohji showing things may get a little stale 'round here. Think about the way clothes are received in waywt, whenever something breaks from the typical look, it becomes a topic for discussion, far more than "hey nice rick jacket". I don't see why the discussion of shows doesn't follow the same path.
