    How the eff do I pronounce...

    I know I'm not the only one who's probably pronouncing these (and others) wrong...help me out:

    1. Viridi-Anne (like the colour?)
    2. In Aisce
    3. MA+ (m across?)
    4. Boris Bidjan Saberi
    5. Lmaltieri
    6. Sruli Recht
    i traded my LUC jeans + Julius belt + Neil Barrett jeans for a blamain biker jeans

    well viridi anne used to be called viridian so im assuming pronunciation is the same as you assumed

        Thanks...I'm often troubled with the double consonant prefix.

            Imagine how a mediteranean person would pronounce it.

                3. MA+ (m across?) : Emm-Across
                4. Boris Bidjan Saberi : Boh-Ris-Bead-jahn-Sah-Berry
                5. Lmaltieri : Ell-Mal-tee-airy
                6. Sruli Recht ; Sroo-Lee - Wrecked (The ch, I assume is going to sound a bit like hebrew, french, arabic.)

                    I've always counted on retailers for pronunciation, but I've heard EM AY CROSS recently as well as VEYE-ridey-anne.

                      Strange. I was sure Jona himself pronounced it the way I stated, but could very well be wrong.

                        Were it me I would defer to the designer over a writer who very well could have converted it to Poor Man's IPA incorrectly.

                            Comes from Gaelic (meaning, "in vain". It has a second informal meaning, "freebee").

                            This is the sophisticated Leinster dialect pronunciation.

                            A Munster man would just grunt twice.

                            An Ulster man might just gag, depending on his "tradition".
