I saw it and really liked it alot,
I think my wife would be more of a Dries woman than an Ann or Margiela woman......
For my own pockets sake I have to keep her ignorant of this ...........at least for a few years

Wanted to hate on this but can't be done. The forms are beautiful and the patterns only compliment the silhouettes. The flow is flawless. Some of the accessories are so simply and yet they are simply stunning. Feel kinda pissed that i can't get this excited over dries men's stuff, but I've been saying that a lot so far.

Yep, definitely, I see a number of new designers who tend to get carried away with them and use them almost to give the illusion of the clothes being 'designer' whilst paying little attention to the cut, fit, texture or theme of the clothes.

Doesn't seem to be the case with DVN, every pattern seems to be well placed and relevant to the garment itself, such as the diamond-patterned black evening dress, the floral kimono and that retro orange dress quoted above.
