Parting with these two lovely pieces as my new residence/studio could use some stuff including some new machines hehehe.
1. Special Order CCP Fencing Jacket
This is THE jacket. Custom ordered a few months after the 07-08 AW collection Disjointed. Constructed out of calf (code name is Juicy-PTC) the jacket is constructed and then object dyed which tones both the leather and the full lining giving the exterior a beautiful deep black with almost an "oil slick" look closer to the seams. The texture and feel of the leather is perfect.
After object dying, the jacket was dried on a mannequin giving it a basic form before the end wearer will allow it to mold to their own body and movement.
The jacket has two side zip pockets that can pop open with Carol's signature triangular insert at the tops of pockets and an inner left chest pocket.
The pattern work on this jacket is really lovely. Sleeves are two piece construction that curve to follow the arms and the upper rear neck construction is done with tapering leather that is continuous with the front panels and wraps around.
The fencing closes with a matte silver heavy duty YKK double zip and the cuffs close with snaps.
As with all of Carol's leathers, the quality and the materials are absolutely amazing. They have a structure to them yet conform to the body beautifully.
Comes with tags and pamphlet stamped 01-01. Completely mint condition with that lovely CCP leather smell.
