You’ve heard of the brands Lumen et Umbra, designed by Issei Fujita and Boris Bidjan Saberi's eponymous label. If you happen to be near the University of Bologna on the 2nd of April, it would definitely be in your interest to check out the symposium “The Samurai and The Warrior”. With critical analysis given by speakers occupying the differing fields of pop culture, the work of these two innovative, contrasting designers will be discussed in relation to “the new urban humanity”. It promises to be a very interesting discourse.

the picture is from a boris bidjan saberi event called eleven, which was held in november 2010 during berlin fashion week. there were mostly shown the more experimental pieces like the transparent leather stuff, along with some classics of his line (if one could speak of classics when talking about a still very yound designer) ...it also incorporated a hip-hop and breakdance performance. see scoute's article on the event for some more shots and details:

Yeah, this is exactly what I'm saying. Yet the (poorly) written description of the event doesn't sound promising at all to me.

I guess it might make sense from a fashion design perspective, given the course.
