can't see anything in these pics but it does look like a pleasant return to more familiar plokhov territory. looks like solid work, but i'm not fond of his boots this time which i usually love more than anything.

This moody theme is typical in Alexandre Plokhov's presentations, so yeah you can't see many details in the photos as always. In every collection there are two or three pieces that are top notch for me (in FW12 they were the bomber and the horse leather jackets) and in my opinion this one looks better than FW12.
The aesthetics are there and I kinda see a nice development to his work meaning that his vision is clearer than in the first seasons and there is definitely a connection between FW12 and FW13. I just wish that he hadn't presented SS12 in between which was an absolute mess.

The model choice/poses are a little intense.

I feel like his personality is overshadowing the clothes a bit.

^ According to his facebook page he wanted to achieve a more rock 'n' roll vibe, so that explains a bit the poses.

This isn't exactly the exhibition or show either. It's just supposed to be a preview.

I don't think there is going to be an exhibition. Only showroom photos from stores (maybe) and probably a New York runaway like last year.

Sorry, I meant the showroom when I said exhibition. Japanese shops usually use the word exhibition to refer to this, and it's seeped into my head ...

The clothes (from what you can see in the pictures) look solid, but I could have easily instagrammed a lot of these pictures.
“Man has somehow always feared this search, and I fear it even now. Suppose all man ever does is search for the reason, crosses oceans, sacrifices his life in the search; but to search it out, actually to find it, he’s afraid. For he senses that once he finds it, there will be nothing to search for.”
