its actually good, i like it. Top heavy but its nice.maintains the ann look.
Big improvement on the last one. Maybe there is hope uet!
This is gorgeous, I hope Ann is proud!
Its Ann all the way but not the same repetitive looks we have come to expect , I love the execution on the longer kaftanesque pieces
& Embroidery on hooded coats ... what!!! sick!
I would love to see any of these dudes walk around my city , the black drapy thing is sooo tired!
Agreed with all of the above, it was a very nice collection, probably one of my favourite this season.

Been refraining from commenting on the other collections, I like to digest them, look at the stills the videos..then by the time I have something sensible to say I am usually repeating someone else..
Anyway, this looks simply beautiful. Despite the heavy layering on top, the looks still remain balanced. Quite a feat whilst wearing 5/6 layers on top!
Thanks L for the images, and the other coverage.
Wow, it's curtains for AnnD. Beautiful, embroidered curtains...![]()
My favorite collection in what's been a pretty lackluster season thus far.

So impressed and pleasantly surprised!
All of it's so beautiful and the best of pfw so far for sure.
Embroidery is one of my favorite techniques, especially on lighter fabrics, what a dreamy perfect collection... The styling appears much easier than her last few collections as well.
Now I'm home and looking at the images on a large screen not my phone, I like it even more.
I was fearing (expecting?) that once Ann left, the label was going to turn to shit. My fears were not helped by the last runway show. This however, does rather allay those concerns!
Yay, seems like last season they were just regrouping and men's was an after thought. This is back to form![]()
Sebastian Menuer (sp?), formerly mensear designer at Margiela, was hired a few years ago. That's the dude you see in the last picture.

thank you. I can clearly see the influence. It's very grounded.

I've given up on spelling French names a long time ago.

Lol. Demeulemeester was difficult enough to master.
Though less romantic, these looks are incredibly more accessible for new clientele. to me this looks like a fresh start to what will hopefully be a line as dark and romantically involved as the master herself would have wanted.
But now AD is single and definitely ready to mingle.
