New search function is bloody amazing. Now we can make a 'best of' SZ thread.

I like the new post/quote buttons, but I wouldn't mind having the Quick Reply button a little more obvious.

but hey even Valentino moved on to better things (skiing.) things look pretty snazzy. though i do miss the old front page with the guy with the rick owens cape. it got the 'this isn't backgammon, were not playing games.' message across pretty good.

I wasn't saying it in a mean way AT ALL.. I just really liked the simplicity of the first version. I respect everybody's time and effort put into this site. Don't get me wrong, I still like it. It's just going to take a little time to get used to it, Thats all

how important are pm's from the old site? there is not a standard way to import them as there was for posts. i can write some custom code to take copy them to the new site, but i want to know that it would be time well spent. so yeah. make some noise if you need the old pm's.

I believe we can replicate it on this site - the front page doesn't have to be the forums, I think.

I'd say do it incase someone has extremely relevant information stored there, like payment details, adresses or something. otherwise I'm atleast willing to sacrifice mine.

rss added. i also changed the way threads are marked as read, so that it's more consistent with the way the old site worked.

Is there a way to get rss feeds of specific threads in vBulletin? It looks like you can subscribe to the entire board or to specific forums. I loved being able to read SZ threads in my rss reader (although I guess it probably explains why I never post...)
