Just wanted to know. I know I contacted some of you directly when I was starting the site, but what about others?

Coldrice. I would've seen it through faust's blog had coldrice not mentioned it first.

Re: How did you learn about StyleZeitgeist?
Saw it from you're blog too, which I found from reading the Dior Homme mega thread on fashion spot. I must say, good job with the forum faust! It's become a really nice little community, I find myself looking forward to the posts here more than anywhere else. I've also come to really respect everyone's opinion here, it's a nice small group and everybody knows there stuff. As opposed to larger forums where you get a lot of random people throwing out unfounded opinions to up their post count.

[quote user="clay"]First I noticed Faust was missing from TFS. So I looked up Faust's profile and found his blog and realized he started his site, which I knew must be good, so I came over and signed up.

more or less the same route as above.

“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

I'm confused. That seems rather unreasonable. Do you think it's because this site is a challenge to tfs rather than a complement to it?
Sorry, I am not familiar with the whole back story--I think I only joined tfs a few weeks before i started posting here.

No, I think that's because softgrey is just an insecure vengeful bitch. I don't mind though, I like it here better.

Re: How did you learn about StyleZeitgeist?
I was contacted by Faust when the site started (dunno why though, I wasn't and still aren'ta big contributor on TFS). I think the site is rather complimentary to the aforementionned fashion behemoth board as it's rather intimate and focused rather than being all-reaching and enormous.Selling CCP, Harnden, Raf, Rick etc.

i was on and off fashion spot for only a couple months well over a year ago - i never posted and there seemed to be an overwhelming amount of miscellaneous crap to sort through. however, the ny destination guide you provided proved very useful on my trip last fall [thank you] and it occurred to me to check out tFS again recently. that process eventually lead to your profile, blog and the forum.
the ban seems like a rather childish maneuver on their end.
