momofuku ko has a strict policy to only allow people who booked the reservation to go in order to curb any sales of the reservation. i'm fucking bummed i can't go. on the other hand, my gf is vegetarian (they have no vegetarian options there) and was willing to break her vegetarianism to eat there. gives her a little bit more prep time when we go later. ;)

i'm going to try some trickery tomorrow. i'm going to directly to the calendar (i have the url saved) and see if i can snag a reservation that way. while the calendar was still up this morning was able to get to it using the url, so we'll see...</p>

the only snag i see, other than the restaurant blocking this method, is that the url to the calendar doesn't specify seat number. </p>

That will work as long as you visit the seat count page (and select a number) a couple of minutes before 10. As for giving you an edge... I dunno.</p>

anyone in nyc know of a legit vietnemese pho place? i haven't found one yet and i love that shit. my sister says the pho place in ktown (pho 47?) is really good. but how good could a pho place be if it's run by koreanz?
