The exhibition is definitely worth a trip to London(or above cities), if you not happen to be in one of the above cities.
You're welcome Kira. Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
Of course.

What's going on in New York? I want to take my class on a field trip to some design exhibition, but I can't think of something interesting...Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

Nothing groundbreaking, but I think there's a Van Gogh exhibit at the MOMA as well as Jeff Koons ballon sculptures at the MET.

London Art to see Part 1
Things to go see in London.
At the Tate Britain-
The Francis Bacon exhibition was really wonderful. It was really nice to see so much in one place. I was quite drawn to the one room, called Apprehension. It focused on his Man in Blue series from the 50's.
The Turner Prize Exhibition was ok. I enjoyed the Goshka Macuga installation and some of the Mark Leckey installation. The rest, kind of, ehh.
At the Tate Modern-
The Rothko exhibition was absolutely delightful. I walked into the one main room and just stood there surrounded by huge deep red and black/brown paintings. It felt so calming. Then, there was another room with his black on black paintings that was amazing as well. It felt quite refreshing to walk through this whole exhibition.
There was also a Cildo Meireles exhibition that was pretty amazing. One piece was about time and sound. You walked into this smaller room, with white wooden fold out tape measures hanging from the ceiling, some with wrong measurements. This was surrounded by small white clock all over the walls. You walked through the tape measures in a pathway that gets smaller and smaller until you are caught in the middle and have to break your way out. The entire time the tape measures make this beautiful sound when they bang into each other, and that combines with the ticking of the clocks. Little black numbers cover the floor and get stuck to your feet.

That would've been absolutely perfect for the spring semester, because I cover different topics. How did you like that blasting in NYT? Hilarious. In his infallible believe that he is important and infallible Lagerfeld sometime truly rises beyond pathetic. I mean, his faith in his image rivals that of top religious leaders.Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde
