while I'm not rocking a cell phone, all photos are taken with an aging & ailing canon 6 megapixel point and shoot that was a hand me down from my mom...

I keep meaning to buy a nice camera and then something comes up on SZ classifieds or elsewhere...and so I still rock a very basic camera...I think soon some cell phone cameras will approach the quality of this canon...

shit, i wish i at least had a 'real' camera to work with...i feel like a fraud taking some of these photos, with the cell phone u can exploit the shitty resolution and camera properties and make something look like it was a purposely grainy shot or whatever...i have a canon ixus that i use self-timer to take my waywts but somehow i feel like my cell phone low fi shots feel more "photographic" so i stick with that out of habit...haha

I hear you there...part of me is afraid to get a serious dslr type camera simply because I've become so accustomed to the canon point and shoot...I'm fairly active and am often snapping photos while climbing, hiking, trail-running, etc, and I know there'd be both a steep learning curve involved, as well as the limiting factor of having such a nice piece of equipment around one's neck...

i was really pleased with this one cos i didn't use flash and it was a basic canon p&s (which i later lost on nye and didn't replace) and i just uploaded.

fade-i'm pretty much going to be using cell phone cameras till i find another p&s i love enough to buy. plus people can't tell whether i'm playing a game or taking a picture and to be honest, some of your pictures, i couldn't tell it was from a cellphone :)
