FtB That is my favourite shot from you so far (a close second would be the Yohji Yamamoto card thing) The mixture of horizontal cobble street lines and a cigarette butt on wood is pure steez.

i like the color version much better, colors are kind of Hockney-ish. it doesn't make sense to put this photo in B&W at all.

Fark suggested it so I figured I would give it a try. I also prefer it in color as I like the blue in the sky/ocean.

I agree, it looks much better in color. Where is that location by the way, it looks like a beautiful place for a holiday.

it's on the island of Santorini in Greece.. and your right it's absolutely gorgeous. It's the city of Fira which has those blue and white buildings on the cliffs which are usually shown when advertising Greece.

cmitso After seeing how it is in B&W, I too believe that the coloured one is better. Sorry for suggesting! I thought it would've turned out nicer. But they are both very nice pictures.

FtB You should keep taking pictures with cigarette butts in them. The cobble stones and the cockroach ones are my faves. The cockroach one because of the distant cig at the back, the slight blur, and left me wondering if the poor guy was still alive.
