I have to say that these are really, really well-done and they look so cool. Great job - I couldn't imagine these coming out better.

      Some of my design work

Here are a few photos from the Y-3 flagship store that I designed (layout/materials/colors/graphic placement/fixtures/furniture). It opened in April 2006

      Basement - Men's Level

      Mezzanine - Women's Level

      Basement - Men's Level

      Main Floor - Luxury Level

Here's a chair that I designed and built. It's made of Richlite, MDF and steel.

Thanks! The back leg and spacers are MDF. The body of the chair is black Richlite (a highly compressed recycled paper product) and steel is just used for the rod that hold the whole thing together.

Richlite is most commonly used for skateboard ramps (it's called Skatelite but it's the same thing) and for cutting boards. At the time when I made the chair, it was the first piece of furniture made using Richlite.

            Hmm thanks!
I think I saw a handbag made of the same material using Rapid prototyping at MOSS in NY it almost felt like a blend of plastic and paper mache
I guess longevity is not an issue?

This is a totally different material then they use in rapid prototyping. Those usually are a powder or liquid that gets "printed" in very thin layers to create the object.

Richlite is made by placing multiple sheets of paper in a tub, soaking them with resin and placing it under tons of pressure to create a very strong, stable and solid product. In this case longevity is no problem.

Thanks Joni! Too bad it hasn't helped me land a job in this economy.

Yes. It's the one that set the design for all the shops.
