    Black Butte Porte
    Krombacher Dark
    Lone Star Bock
    Guadalupe Honey Brown
    Guadalupe Scotch Ale
    Alamo Golden Ale
    Real Ale Fireman 4
    Shiner Bock
    Shiner Ruby Redbird
    Shiner Wild Hare
    Lone Star (my session beer)

Lurked for 3 or so years, decided to finally post and I have beer on my mind ha. Beers I've had in the past month or so. I live in Texas, and I just noticed most are from here. Really craving a Black Butte or a Fireman 4 right now.

would anyone be interested in 4 ancient, dusty bottles of westvleteren from the 50-60's? they are the yellow, blue, red and green cap. authentic and have been stored properly in a dark cold cellar. send me your offers. even new bottles are rare and expensive, so these more so.

Current favourite brewer is my local, the Kernel in London. A shame they haven't been doing their double citra IPA lately. Stuff to die/kill for. However, their consistency is amazing and they keep churning out top IPAs and pale ales using other hops as well.

Other consistently good local breweries worth checking out in London.

A childhood, er, young-ish adult favorite.

Of course it tastes just as good in old age.

Nice, reminds me that I have a bottle of their oatmeal stout stashed away somewhere.

Highly recommend DuClaw's Sweet Baby Jesus. Chocolate peanut butter porter, fucking delicious.

BECOMING-INTENSE was the Smith's somewhere in London? by local you mean independent? or was it a chain express place?

Kinda suprised, either way, i miss summer evenings outside or winter evenings upstairs in the John Snow.

                        Hmm.. is it really chocolate-y?
Oddly enough, I actually hate beer! Unless it doesn't taste like beer; then I'm all over it.

for non beery-y beers, fruit lambics are awesome. any fruit lambic really.
recently tried Mikkeller's (danish microbrewery) cranberry lambic, whoaa was it awesome... but for like 25 bucks a bottle I felt a bit sad. far better values are available. probably even more so in USA.

interest1, I would maybe recommend Liefmans Fruitesse. I say maybe because it's a mixture of different fruits instead of one, which I personally don't care for, but I love the singularly flavored Lambics. So if you dig fruit medley's then it might be right up your alley.

I might try that chocolate one Faust, because I've really been looking for one that actually tastes like chocolate. All of the ones I've tried so far end up tasting burnt to me for some odd reason.
