Sounds strange, I haven't come across this on HTC or Samsung. To my understanding memory management is run automatically by Android's run time, ie its supposed to kill non essential processes to free up memory if needed. sounds like something is wrong with the phone or os if this isn't functioning..?"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. Let's not turn this into a iPhone vs. Android battle though. I just think it's silly when people claim I don't want the Android because of a lack of Apps. So what if it's like 200,000 apps versus 70,000. I find 70,000 EASILY exceeds anything I've ever wanted.
One example that comes to mind (because I use the app often) is Siri. Fantastic app that came out and quickly generated hype and subsequently got bought by Apple (will be incorporated into upcoming iPhones). The technology, the most advanced speech recognition stuff I've seen, will never find its way to the Android in its present/forthcoming incarnations.
So I think you are limiting yourself if you just talk technology when choosing your device. I agree with dmash at the end of the day - different strokes for different folks.Last edited by doldrums; 09-12-2011, 02:34 PM.

The iPad is a whole other beast and is rapidly entering the corporate space. It's completely revolutionized the tablet. For those that think this is hype, tell HP that. After sinking 1.8 billion into the palm acquisition and losing upwards of $700 mil over the last three months, they're practically forced to sell or spin off their PSG business.
Problem with Apple in the corporate space is there isn't the IT staff available to support or manage these devices. Apple traditionally has only competed in the K-12 space, graphic design and other niche markets. That makes it difficult for organizations to go out and hire someone reputable to support the technology.Originally posted by hausofblaqGrow up.

I must admit I don't know why, but iPhone and iPad are considered totally unreliable security-wise at this level of confidentiality, by our specialists.
(The ANSSI sometimes also help strategic French firms with their security, and I bet they promote blackberry to their executives as well, at least for every professionnal purpose)My Photography: Website/Facebook Page
