This season has been great so far. This weeks episode was no exception. That wheelchair sex scene....classic.

Les Valseuses (Going Places in english I believe) by Bertrand Blier

I watched it in bed with mon petit amie, prior to reading poetry to each other whole night. All I could think of however was young Gerard Depardieu though ;) . A rather good movie in my opinion.

haha..prob one of the strongest episodes to date. I love the little nuances like LD's relationship with Susie. If you notice how they interact in the beginning of the a scene when their characters first interact in the episode.....Susie is always very nice to LD and greets him like an old friend...then 8 out of 10 times, the scene ends with Susie chewing out LD. In a real life, a Susie would hold a grudge against LD...but not in Curb.

ahaha i never got around to checking out The Style Guy's TV Party, I should.

rented Soderbergh's Girlfriend Experience today, gonna watch in a bit. was mostly interested by reviews' descriptions of the film's polished coldness.

and i just saw a trailer for Videodrome which to this day I still haven't gotten around to watching...but that trailer is 80s greatness to the max

I've just seen "Les aventuriers" for the first time and I am completely amazed. A french 1967 movie directed by Robert Enrico with Alain Delon (so handsome), Lino Ventura and Joanna Shimkus. The latter is just amazing and adorable, I fell in love with her character Laetitia (and her metal sculptures).

I may quote from an IMDB user, since I could not express it any better:

This film is about freedom. If you have not seen it, maybe you do not know what freedom is, and how it feels to be free. It shows a world that will not come back any more, and we can not be sorry enough for that. Something has gone. Something, that is present in each and every moment of this film. When watching it, you will feel short of breath, and that the room is not large enough.

Watched SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION for the 28th time last night. I never get sick of this movie. I always hold back tears of joy during the big "scene."

watching a lame episode of "The Practice"...trying to decide if I should find something on demand or just watch the news.

love this movie. it's haunting and cliche.
