^Haha. I spend about two hours a day at the gym. Until two years ago I used to spend 16-20 hours a week at practice. So the short answer is yes, I am an athlete. It's difficult to imagine a lifestyle in which I'm not as active as I am right now.

it depends on how much energy you burn, how fast your metabolism is etc. a friend of mine who is a bit smaller and skinnier than me often eats about 1.5x the amount I do, so its a very personal thing.

To me exercise IS boring, unless I am playing soccer. That's the only thing that gets me going like a Pavlovian dog.

the only sport other than soccer that I enjoy is Cycling, something that I am scared to do on the streets of New York!

don't diet people, it's useless. the weight will come back as soon as you stop.
the only way to stay thin is to change your eating habits and most importantly, eat less (you will feel hungry at first but then your stomach will shrink and you won't need as much food)

I eat super unhealthy fatty stuff, but in small quantities and I skip supper whenever I go out. If I stay home I'm too bored to avoid eating

also, walk everywhere, it's exercising without the strain and boredom
