Sorry, how much useful information comes out of newspapers? We've all sorts of highly informative news sources, or we could slog through 3 months of "access journalism" and parroted press releases for one investigative report. Compare Marcy Wheeler to any current journalist at a major newspaper and the difference in signal to noise is astounding. I don't see why any busy person attempting to stay informed would waste time with newspapers. Sure, if I were unemployed I suppose I'd read the NYTimes to kill some time, but otherwise I see no point.Originally posted by Faust View PostHobo: We all dress up. I don't know who Marcy Wheeler is, but I will take NYT over Huffington Post or the million other garbage "news" websites any day. Like Mail-Moth, I don't want to be overinformed.
