I think the last mosquito of the season decided to bite my jaw and my neck right on the jugular. Guess it had good aim.

I tend to flip through these threads backwards, so when I read this I thought it was something delightfully sordid. Then I flipped back and saw it was just about a mosquito...haha.

not that this will help, but sometimes you meet people to learn things about yourself, or help you to tackle another long suppressed issue in another part of your life...it is hard to see at the moment, but I always try to find something positive about heartache. it helps to pull me through. that and a ton of wine...

you read too deeply, kira. I feel for you, for at one point, i was among the feelers myself (no, not in THAT way, you pervert. Yes you.)

Unfortunately, i was just quoting Carl Thomas out of boredom.

                          "First liners: A Mental Exercise"

                          Sample one:

"I see high class gold diggers as the earth's scum, but a prostitute selling pussy to feed five kids who haven't eaten for days, to me she is Mother fucking Teresa."

"You're a long fucking way from Oz, Dorothy."

I recently discovered a great way to read books:

If I pick up a book that looks interesting, I'll read it halfway. Once it starts to get really interesting/intriguing, I'll simply put it down, never to pick it up again. Move on to next book and repeat.

This has really helped me in getting my creative juices and imagination flowing. I try to mentally write the rest of the book I didn't finish, and y'all know it's never gonna end up the same. This process works especially well with non fiction and history books.

Great F2B. Your musings don't always click with me but I loved this one.

Also I like the comedy thing but seeing as we are both relatively tall, gangly ethnic types, who will be the straight man? Full disclosure: I actually do perform some comedy-ish things in the real world.
