You guys boycotting BP by the way?
Won't do the concern harm in any way at all, plus there are multiple enterprises involved in what happened but I personally think it would be a good symbolic act nevertheless.
I myself don't have a car but if I had, I would.
I have dreams of orca whales and owls
But I wake up in fear
I see a substantial rise in the boycotting movement here. It's been more than a month and it looks like almost nothing has been done about the spill. I don't even know if they're confident with their next step in solving the problem.
it would be practically impossible to boycott BP, and will only amount to putting a bunch of franchised gas stations out of business that do nothing for BP's bottom line anyhow (they can sell oil to anyone).
it's not that they haven't done anything, but that it takes time to respond to absolute worst-case scenarios in this type of situation. the contingency plans had all failed prior to the explosion happening so at that point you're dealing with the worst-case. it's not easy to create a one-size-fits all contingency for a scenario that will be completely different each time. that's why the gov't hasn't been able to do anything this whole time other than blow hot air and do a lot of political grandstanding, cuz they're guys don't have a clue either.
i'm ok with getting rid of BP though cuz they're a pain to work with. we just need to remember that having Russia and Venezeula drilling in the gulf of mexico off of cuba and mexico is not an attractive alternative, but is would be guaranteed to happen if america stops drilling in the gulf. for now, it's just a shame that a lot of people are going to needlessly lose their jobs because of the no drilling ban.

I facepalm at Israeli naval commandos. When will they realize that what they say usually never makes much sense. Attacking aid supply to Palestine and claiming the ships link to Al-Qaeda/Terrorist organizations, is so very creative. Why do i feel like i've never heard that one before? Grow up.
I pray for those onboard the Mavi Marmara including 12 Malaysians.
