Indeed! Yesterday was just as great I only missed "Rime Of The Ancient Mariner".
Probably the best song they ever made!

You're welcome, haha. I wouldn't have broken anything had my boots been better, but they didn't have adequate ankle protection. There are definitely steps you can take to mitigate the risks.

J, get well, and be careful my friend, you are a braver man than i am, but just be safe........
Thanks, Zam. I wear all the protective gear when I ride, but the boots weren't up to the task. I'm considering getting a different pair when I recover.

It definitely is an experience. I don't normally notice a difference while I ride because I'm usually concentrating on making sure conditions are safe. But when I finish riding I always feel serene . It's a great feeling to have even after a traffic-filled commute.

agreed on that! whenever i go skiing i have a ritual where i go up to the highest, steepest peak at whatever mountain i'm on, crank up that song, and bolt down as fast as i can

yeah, i'd advise those that shy away from the risk of motorbikes to go with mountain biking. the thrills are there, but you definitely can't catch as much air which is a real bummer.

on another note, looks like the double-dip in the economy will be upon us this summer.

syria cutting the internet after 60 dead yesterday. not going to stop anything, but it does make you fearful that if they ratchet up the killing it'll be harder for folks to disseminate that information.

I swear stores have magic mirrors as there have been countless occasions where I have tried something in store and loved it, only to be slightly disappointed when trying it on again at home.
