Another example of service excellence from Japan...

Own a canon mkiii...had an image alignment problem that my homecountry couldn't fully repair...was gonna spend a week in tokyo...emailed canon japan beforehand...was told to send to shinjuku svc center...brought camera in...svc personnel there knew who i was and my case history the moment i stepped in...5 days later camera was couriered to my hotel in perfect condition...problem completely fixed, even updated firmware for me...!
