Been listening to Jay Z's early stuff again. Never really been a big fan of his. The Blueprint and Reasonable Doubt stand out to me.
I would be interested if anyone had anything to say about the history of occult references in hip hop.

although I thought rap rock died as well, Latin Gangs still listen to rap rock or make it themselves. Lowrey, that track from Mos Def is still a favorite for me, I enjoyed the entire ''The New Danger'' album. already a decade old, time flies..a fish out of water dies
