I saw atmosphere and brother ali just a while ago and it was pretty awesome. apart from jay-z and mark ronson I haven't seen much gigs recently, both of those were excellent though. Murs For President is what I'm listening to right now.

dude that's crazy. i saw too $hort perform in oakland in the early 90s. the performance was filmed for the short dogs in the house video. the show turned into a riot. i had to hide under the camera boom until the police arrived in full riot gear to break up the melee.
