A buddy of mine (who is a well know tattoo artist and shall remain unnamed) and the other artists at his shop will hide penises in the tattoos they do on one another. Like a mean and permenant Al Hirschfeld.

oh wow! thats some serious work. How does the torso hurt from 1 - 10? I heard its pretty bad

I'd say about 8.5-9 for the outline, once the outline was done, the shading was like nothing.

Can anyone recommend a tattooist in NY/LA who has a familiarity with pre-modern painting (specifically Bosch)? Everything i've seen so far just looks like Kinkade after a bad trip.

Mike, I was very sceptical first, but must say that I really like the gradient that evolves from Hooper to Büchi. The evolution of stroke and shading looks very interesting and nice in contrast. That’s some tough linework.
Maxime is going to tattoo me in february at Shangri La London —*it’s planned at least, not scheduled yet — and i am so looking forward to it. He seems like a good guy.
