I was impressed with Liverpool today. They should have won that game.

Really? Liverpool didn't really look like scoring until Man United equalised (the free kick should never have gone in). Yes Man U played a negative line up but I think Liverpool really struggle to break down strong defences and have lacked creativity ever since Meireles was sold.

It was a dour affair for an hour, Liverpool can't take many positives from that display against United's bench and United have taken a big step backwards in trying to draw that game.

United need to rest some key players In the first half and injuries of key players, The game speed is not as fast as their other matches ago.

It was boring, but I don't think their opponent was very strong. I find early stage champions league matches are often like that. Knockout round, on the other hand, is some of the best football around.

I'm a wreck at the moment. My team, Hammarby, is fighting for survival in the Swedish second tier and today, in the last game of the season, we face the team currently in 3rd place away. 3000 Hammarby supporters have made the trip from Stockholm to the south end of Sweden. Can't believe we won the Swedish championship only ten fucking years ago... Wish us luck...
