I am thinking a darker grey, almost darkshadow. Used to think my ultimate car would be an ac cobra in matt black but every other car is now matt black so must buck the trend. Somewhat.
Still looking for a reasonably priced model tho.
Actually matte grey looks very good. I've seen a Bentley GT and Techart GT Street done that way. Its a very aggressive looking shade.
Matte black is getting very overused. A lot of people are doing vinyl wraps instead of painting these days. Maintenance on it is not easy!
I have actually seen a matte black Shelby Cobra locally. I have some pics on my other computer somewhere.
I would also consider doing "satin" instead of straight matte. Satin is not as dry looking as straight matte, it is done by spraying semi-matte clearcoat.
Rated output - 500 hp at 6,800 rpm
Rated torque - 465 lb. ft. at 5,250 rpm
Maximum engine speed 7,000 rpm
Acceleration 0–60 mph - 4.1 s (est.)
Top speed - 186 mph (electronically-limited)
but what makes it special is that it doesn't sacrifice luxury the way other stripped down "track ready" cars do. its still a mercedes. i haven't made it to 186 yet but damn close
dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective
Sorry for the language, really not my everyday vocab, but this guy is... quite intolerable. And everywhere! Can't believe he wormed his way onto my computer screen ....

We have the ultimate in dichotomous vehicles. I have an a3 with a big and thirsty 3.2 l v6 and a honda oddyssey. My son gets his permit in 4 years so he will get the a3 and daddy will get an rs4.
really like the look of japanese sports nissan gtr's, 350z, 370z and the honda NSX - gorgeous beasts in a slightly tacky macho way.....
spent a good deal of time in a gtr as well (wasn't mine but i had it for a few weeks) and it doesn't touch the black series clk. not even close. but still, totally bad ass
you should hear it from the drivers seat. yesterday i felt like such an asshole i was driving it downtown and every now and then i'd rev the shit out of it when speeding past a bus-stop or something to kinda shock the people standing around. a total dick thing to do but it is more deep and throaty. a pleasant sound. not a screamer. people like to hear it.
boy that lambo is a screamer though isn't it? jeezus...

lol, yeah that's pretty douchbag but hey, you got to flex that AMG muscle. it's not as bad as driving around with straight pipes in carrera GT's scaring the shit out of everyone..
