Hi. I like your necklace. - It's actually a rape whistle, but the whistle part fell off.

            dear SZ,

so I’ll be in London next february for some ink and am looking for a room on a budget. I’d prefer a small hotel over BNB; in-room shower is a must, toilet may be shared.

Normally I don’t mind BNB, I think I want a more anonymous accomodation in this case :)

Does anybody have a favourite place to stay?

Dude, London is the very first place on earth where you should do AirBNB. Hotels are ridiculously expensive. I've never had a problem with AirBNB. Don't stay in someone's house - stay in a nice clean apartment specifically designed to be rented out. It will be just as anonymous and pleasant. Even more so, I'd say.

I have a pair of Layer-0 boots which need reheeling. Any recommendations for somewhere decent in London?

I took a pair of early Augusta/A1923 side zip boots into James Taylor & Son W1U 5QE. Have to say they listened to what I wanted, and did do a good job.

                    cheers for that

I see that Hostem are moving (about 100m) to Old Nichol Street - don't know if that's a contraction, expansion or around the same size for less rent

DSM is also moving. Opening at Haymarket on the 19th of March.

Conceived by Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe, Dover Street Market is a place for creators from various fields to gather, encounter and collide with each other in a burgeoning atmosphere of beautiful chaos. The original Dover Street Market first opened in London, Mayfair in September 2004.

As I understood it, the Hostem move is just temporary while renovations are taking place in the Redchurch st location.

So are they closing in the meantime, or is the Redchurch location open while they move?

If anybody wants to have a coffee or so in London next week, hit me up
                            I’m in Hoxton, from 2nd to 4th.

Is there something special going on at the moment?

Is there any good recommendation? Shop, restaurant?
