wasn't impressed with it either. somehow beth gibbon's whining does not go with the harder, nosier music. check out her solo album though - brilliant.</p>

Nice one. I saw them years ago touring for this album. They had like 20 people on stage. The entire collective. Totally blew my mind. </p>

In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is one of the greatest albums ever made.</p>

they have a new record called some blood that i actually just downloaded now. they play sporadically b/c the singer is in med school. generally, they tour overseas the most. each time i saw them live they were so fucking raging.

saw them (off minor) and amanda woodward at the smell about 5 years ago. it ruled, and the drummer was awesome.</p>
