i went to fennesz/sakamoto. tons of people, half of whom were japanese because of sakamoto. they played a lot from cendre and some soundscape stuff in the beginning. the first time fennesz started playing guitar it was a joke.

ive been listening to alot of Ornella Vanoni, cool italian singer where i hardly understand a word but the music makes me feel like im somehwere in florence, eating an apple and people watching, while a calm breeze rushes by.

I've been really impressed with his shift into black metal too

On the black metal tip these two shows are next weekend in NYC. Inquisition are not to be missed. Both shows are free and start at 9. It's BYOB. Just saw Pete Tong and Morgan Page at the Vanguard LA ( Im a super huge fan of House /Electronica/ Progressive)... Dancing rules my soul! Not sure if the SZ community is to into this type of music...But its rad for grooving...
