What are you listening to?

How do you like the new GGD? They have been working on it for a while.

I like it. It's a bit more upbeat than in the past. Quite electronic. Not that it's bad - it's good - but I certainly prefer the more percussion-based sound of the other albums.

Definitely more electronic infused into it, but I enjoy that change. Maybe that is just where my taste is right now though. I have seen some of it live and it is really good. I am also such a huge fan I may be completely biased. They are playing a couple of times at the end of October and in November in NYC again with their new album.

God's Money is one of my favorites too. The first time I heard them live was in Florence and when they played Egowar, it just really grabbed me.

^ yeah, but scott 3 is so far removed that I don't even think it makes sense to start there. better off with nite flights if you want to move from seed to flower, although the drift sound only truly makes sense to me in relation to tilt, and tilt itself in relation to nothing at all.

there was a phenomenal scott walker doc which came out a few years back called 30th century man. I highly recommended it to any fans, and am really glad to hear that there are some here! scott walker is one of the few artists that I've had literally no luck in getting my friends interested in, which is a shame, because he is a genius (a term I do not use lightly).
