i've gotta reiterate how damn good that day of man as man split with stars of the dogon is. it's like portraits of past and lync...(bands i know those kids were obsessed with). but i swear, i've had that thing on repeat since thomas sent it to me.

also - any of y'all make it to the portraits of past shows? so damn good.
STARS OF THE DOGON = BCO

i was at the PoP show at death by audio (death by suffocation). show was very sick. i was hanging out to the side of the stage. so sweaty.

      bco?

i was out of town that weekend, but went to the "secret" show at the charleston the night before...those bastards didn't play "snicker snicker" - and they were using my amps and my practice space! still, they were amazing.

        Kraftwerk - The Man Machine

Also got the German version of "The Model" from a Simian Mobile Disco mix. Way more badass then the original. I always find German singing delightfully perverse - so guttural and precise.
Selling badass McQueen topcoat 48/38/M. I also write and tweet.

Pale Saints and the dog snoring really loud then getting up in his noisy wicker basket bed and turning around like six times before going back to the same spot with his tongue sticking out and snoring more:

Dig this 12. Dimaggio makes me think of wood paneled romper room rockouts in the best way possible. Not sure if that's fair to the guy, though.

Last nite started with a translucent gray vinyl trifecta:
Philip Jeck - Suite: Live in Liverpool
                        Dead C - Canine/Golden
Harvey Milk - Courtesy and Goodwill Toward Men
Darkstar - Need You/Squeeze My Lime
                        Cyber Dance 02
Hudson Mohawke - All City 6x7
Fleetwood Mac - Never Going Back [Tom Croose edit]
I think they're easily the number one punk item.

listening to an old sappy Canto-pop song, my favorite ever from this city actually

Leo Ku - Enjoy Yourself Tonight (sorry this is the most literal chinese-english translation i could think of)

the melody is good, Wyman's lyrics are good, but the overall song really captures the longing yet loneliness that defines this city and the story of everyone living in it...

                              Deerhunter - Microcastle

Two of the best albums of the year, period.

Jacques Coursil Unit, since I just won an eBay auction at a measly $19! Very intense free jazz.
