on the subject of reunions, here are two underbellied aussie outfits that were recently resurrected from the past:
i) primitive calculators -- played someone's backyard just the other day
ii) laughing clowns -- headlining a show at the forthcoming local jazz festival with nels cline for support. the entire fest is amazing as well.
cecil taylor + tony oxley (!!!), tim berne (!!), err bill frisell.
fun times.
