Oh man - 6FS at southpaw, Aug 15th. Even though it's not the original line-up, reviews of their recent shows have been real positive. I think I'm gonna have to go...
some nice nostalgia here - classic line up, touring behind "severe exposure" (their best record, by far...)

That's what I'm talking about...
EDIT: Check out the drummer's Helmut Lang look...Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months - Oscar Wilde

I'm pretty sure I have the "real" record. I had never doubted it, until a friend recently asked me for a copy of it - but wanted to know if I had the "real" version, because apparently, a fake one has been circulating.
But just to compare - it's less drone oriented, real lo-fi drum machine. Kinda sounds like a really fucked up combination of This Heat, early Big Black (circa lungs) Aluk Todolo...?
Also, Atropine is real easily findable online...but of course, who knows if it's "real".
Still, as far as USBM goes - VC are hands down one of my favorites - Although, I'd say ancestors/haxan are pretty high up on that list as well.

can't find an atropine link (real or otherwise) anywhere, so if someone could hook that up it would be much appreciated. the one track I've heard, funeral smoke, is seriously excellent dark ambient.
real version of p aa opal should have josh's vocals on oviamoire and sovarine.
