MaxM, if I may just briefly interject, I find your avatar photo bears a startling resemblence to the cherished candy sucker that takes after one of my dearest friends. Hmm... Ok, carry on.

      Interest1!

You might be right. Techno started as a masked, anonymous possibility of an underground movement centered solely around the music. Many ravers dream back to the late 80's, early 90's: this techno idiom was perverted in self-driven personalization cults like Richie Hawtin's (Plastikman), Richard D. James's (Aphex Twin), also Alexander Wilke-Steinhof's (Alec Empire).

Empire is the least talented of the above, I'm neither a fan of his work. But I happen to be an electrohead in wanting for a passage to the track (Top End Killer) you linked. I have such a hard time with lyrics. I prefer shouts, like these.

Swedish hype around Steso Song's Now It's Dark. The artist claims inspiration from Blue Velvet. I can't find any of the film's somber, dangerous, funny mood in her music.

                  ^

The "inspiration" they're claiming is actually a famous line from the movie, when Dennis Hopper blows out the candles and says "Now it's dark". Classic.

Have you heard David Lynch's music? I like BlueBob. (Shouldn't it be written BlueBOB?)

Man, you're totally right, D. Your Blue Velvet tribute song kicks my Blue Velvet song's arse.
It's so good. Filthy, rotten good. Perfect for karaoke. . Thx for the download.

BTW, really liking your back tat idea. Introduce me to your guy when I get there. Same person did your other 4 pieces, right? Sorry, too lazy to post this in the tattoos thread...

Yesterday I heard Burnt Friedman & Jaki Liebezeit live. It was a really nice and humble concert: exact sounds, excellent coordination, between the two and between organic and electronic instruments. You can listen to some of their work on Spotify.
