man, this is such a shot in the dark - i used to have this record by a group similar to bowery electric - it was one guy and one girl and the name of the band was something like "(insert country name here) society" like, united nations music society or something like that - not that bad - but they sounded a lot like bowery as well. i gotta remember this and ive been looking on the net for hours.

These guys are really growing on me... Great, great band. At first you think - wtf, everything sounds kinda the same and the voice is not really giving anymore depth. But you really gotta listen the albums completely, one track after another. Somehow, The National manage to create a really unique mood in me. Somwhere between dreamy, melancholical, happy and sad at the same time... And it's not like that effect is decreasing the more I listen to it...
