what little kompakt releases or dj sets i come across these days don't seem to have so much edge, or it seems to be intellectualized (i.e. created from a position of distance) or applied ex post. i mean wtf, i don't want an aural dissertation in the club - make me sweat ffs!

...though obviously since i haven't been paying as much attention the past few years i could be entirely wrong. or just too old...

It's certainly not bad. Wouldn't mind seeing them live, though I can't imagine it'd be the most exciting show...
