Bummer, thanks :)
I like the Martes album more, more original imo. Cosmos is more ambiant and all, i really love the acoustics strings and vocals in Martes, mixed with the bleepy glitchy beats.
As you said Cosmos is more soundtrack-y, not a problem in itself at all but just not that very specific type of music i was looking for.
Its all about combining classical elements and bleepy electronica like in Martes.
Not looking for minimal thumping-kick techno here, there is a certain vibe in those murcofs trax there is not elsewhere.
Anyway...

Apparently he's playing a show in Europe with D.A.F. sometime around March.. or May.. Can't remember now actually..
His earlier stuff is much rawer too. More brutal and more angst. Merz: Seeing your Tasaday post, I wonder if you like early Martial Canterel.
Must give the man credit too: He's been doing the minimal synth thing with an obsessive collection of vintage analog gear purely out of passion for years before it became the next cool thing. So many people trying their hand at this sound now are tainted with awkward traces of indie rock or an obvious "I just got into this music yesterday" feel. Martial Canterel sounds pure, impassioned and real. The kind of sound that makes hardened veterans think they're hearing some obscure vintage artist they somehow overlooked..
