      Roskilde Festival, 29. June, 1995:

I had ended up alone, away from my friends, in front of Red Stage.
The band beforehand had just finished, and I was just about to leave
as the next band was ready to go on stage. But then, on stage, in walks
a young dark-haired woman dressed in a gold sleeveless body suit.
I had no idea who she was, but then she opened her mouth. I'll never
      forget this moment.

Excellent. Fantastic album, great band and dynamic shows. I was lucky enough to see five shows on that tour.

                    Here's the new video:

I haven't had chance to get down to pick up her new Album yet,
but come Monday I should. Really looking forward.

It's quite special, when you're introduced to a musician, on stage
right there in front of you and you have no idea what you're in for.
Experiencing Björk for the first time in 94 on the same festival was
also something. The festival was not quite aware of the interest
there was surrounding this little Icelandic woman, so they had placed
her on one the smallest stages. It was packed and electrifying.

Talking about PJ Harvey and Björk, do you remember this one ...

                        Yes, what a classic cover!

I first saw PJ Harvey for the Dry tour, but I really went to see David J (the opening act). I sure wasn't expecting what I heard when she came on stage. Instant convert.

Speaking of which, my friends are at the PJ Harvey show in Brussels tonight and they said Ann Demeulemeester is sitting in the same row with them.

That's not fair. A bit envious.

That cover is amazing, thanks for sharing! I've imagined meeting Ann a few times - tried to think of what the right thing to say to her would be.

Wasn't there talk of establishing a kind of community file sharing system a little while ago? Did anything come of that?

edit: If not, do many here use Soulseek (windows) or SoulseeX (OSX)? Maybe we could start a chatroom for users to participate/share music openly?
