have been meaning to listen to a Nick Drake record for years now but never got around to it, finally listening to the Pink Moon album on Youtube now and hearing this guy for the first time. This is good night time music.

I'm fascinated by this style of early/pre-gospel which I suppose is directly linked to the slave chants and services. I've never heard anything like it. If anyone can recommend similar recordings I would be very grateful.

In a way it reminds of Niblock's A Y U however this feels much more raw and not so precious.
