As for myself, I've been on a big "retrowave" kick lately; most recently picked up on Midnight Runner, Betamaxx, Judge Bitch, Mega Drive, and Nightriders. Soundcloud is my saviour when it comes to this style of music.

something contemporary, released a few months ago: the hirsch effekt. this is so brilliant. it’s three musicians, about fifteen guests and a whole lot of core.
what sounds very ecclectic at first sight turns out to be very planned, without being too forced. at least that is my impression.

it’s record NO2, NO1 is from 2010. both are available in beautiful double vinyl editions via »Kapitän Platte« (Cap Record)
