i was in a record shop a week ago. out of curiosity i browsed the electronic dance section and just picked out a random title, javelin by blue amazon. asked the owner to play it to see how i'd like it. pretty decent but i feel like i'd need to dig and learn more about edm.

i was searching for something specific in my dance music though. i imagine something set in a dystopian futuristic world ala cyberpunk. brooding, atmospheric and visualising, sonically, a downtown chase scene of the future. anyone got any recommendations?

^ Great label Shucks, probably the best along with CLR right now.

          yeah liebing obviously runs things.

another one consistently killing it - it in my opinion - is stroboscopic artefacts. love their mix of minimal, dub and dirt.

With Perc, Xhin, Jonas Kopp they fucking kill the universe.
Make sure you listen to all the 12-inch releases. Amazing sounds.

really impressed with this label. almost everything I've heard from them has been quality.
