What was the party on Canal and Broadway(?) that they played/DJed at on Saturdays? Those parties were nuts. You had to really misbehave to turn a head there.</p>

I never knew the proper name until I tried to look it up. I always knew it as the crazy Bulgarian bar. That place was an eye opener. Or closer. There was a good couple salad years that one could be very very bad and there were no cameras.

Like Battles, I think GGD are good background music for walking around NYC; GGD have more of a crosstown vibe, though -- say... 18th st. </p>

i haven't kept up with gang gang dance for a few years and only have the first two lp's. have they changed at all? they were pretty dope when i saw them with animal collective.

i think they're constantly mutating but nothing to drastick ive seen them a number of times because i'm friends w some of them but my listening relationship to them is pretty casual.
