listening to the new NIN. I like it so far - it's very sparse and meditative, with just a hint of energy lurking in the background. It reminds me of some previous NIN instrumentals. I got an Apple lossless format download - will burn them on CDs tomorrow and listen to the properly.

Same here. I've never been a huge Reznor fan, but I'm really liking this. It's not perfect for every occasion, but I'm supporting him for doing what the music industry should've done long ago.

I dig this track. And though I am certainly on the "big fan" side in the Great Burial Debate, I actually don't think some of his remixes work all that well (not big on that Thom Yorke one, though I'll keep tryin' it)...</p>
The noise talk from days ago made me go revisit a few sides from my Broken Flag boxset. gf was not too terribly happy 'bout that.</p>

then, while dealing with cable, waiting for a delivery, the guys show up and say they dont deliver up one flight of stairs and drive away- meanwhile, no one called to schedule the delivery in the first place- they just showed up.</p>

Really great album! I think the genre is some kind of punk, not good at all with genres.
