I have such a weakness for 90's emo, and then especially modern emo revivalist bands. Park Jefferson fall squarely into the second category, a solid amount of methodical twinkly guitars, slightly out of tune vocals and a strong pop sensibility to their music too.
Fantastic lyrics too.
"I'm restless like the summer, worn out like Father's day cards.
Dripping from top-floor windows, I threw up blood and crashed my car."

Jack, have you listened to William Basinski's "Disintegration Loops"?
Very slow and melancholic, the digital recording of a tape loop slowly falling to pieces as it runs through the machine, a slow dirge for analogue in a way.
But the story goes he was listening to the full digital recording for the first time on his rooftop, when the planes hit the World Trade Centre, ergo: the video for this song. Who knows if it's the truth, but it's certainly a striking story.
