Tonight I'm listening to one of the greatest musicians and poets, Leonard Cohen, who just left us bewildered and alone in times of escalating stupidity. Rest in peace my friend.

+1 this is such a sad week, month, year. Seeing his outdoor performance in Berlin a few years ago, from a clearing in the brush with a group of others who also couldn't get tickets, is one of my favourite musical experiences.

Tonight, it's been Famous Blue Raincoat, The Partisan, Stranger Song, First We Take Manhattan, Chelsea Hotel #2, The Traitor and now whatever comes next.
